Xavier Mbuyamba has capped off an outstanding season by helping lead FC Volendam to the Eerste Divisie title — securing their place back in the Eredivisie and marking a major milestone in the club’s journey.

At just 23 years old, Mbuyamba played a central role in the team’s success, combining leadership, composure, and an elite mentality across the campaign. Not only was he a rock in defence, but he also delivered in the big moments — contributing goals, consistency, and unmatched presence on the pitch.
